It’s recommended that children visit the dentist with their parents as early as possible. Regular visits — as often as advised by your dental team — help children become familiar with the sights, sounds, and smells of the dental practice. Starting early helps build their confidence and makes future appointments much easier. The sooner these visits begin, the more relaxed and comfortable children will feel.
Most people should see their dentist every 6 months, but some may need more or less frequent visits depending on individual oral health needs. Your dentist will advise what’s right for you.
